About PWI

Ken Walton, Managing Partner

Ken Walton is a managing and founding member of Panhandle Windstorm Inspections, LLC. Ken has been involved for more 30 years in the design and construction industry with the last two years spent in the testing business of commercial structures.

Beginning in the mid 1980s, Ken served as Vice President for two architectural firms in the North Florida area, which served clients throughout the Southeast. Ken was involved in the marketing and design of educational facilities, which went through major design changes when schools began being used as hurricane shelters. In early 2000, Ken began consulting for the construction industry and has worked with the top five firms in North Florida. In 2005, Ken was a founding member of W T & B, LLC, in the business of HVAC testing for commercial structures. Projects completed by the firm included large dorms on the FSU campus, condominiums, schools in Florida and South Georgia, as well as numerous commercial structures.

In addition, as a part of his work with educational facilities, Ken currently maintains a Level II background check with the Leon County School Board. Ken's ownership of this testing company allowed him to develop exacting procedures to ensure accurate reports in all testing areas. Quality assurance in testing procedures and reports caused the firm to grow quickly.

In late 2006, Ken sold his interest in the company and began the formation of Panhandle Windstorm Inspection, LLC. Ken recruited top management and IT professionals for the formation of this Limited Liability Corporation.

Robin L. Moss, Office Manager

Robin Moss brings more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry to this position. Robin’s duties have included everything from system administer of a Unix system to development and implementation of marketing materials. In addition she performed computer based publishing and market analysis. Finally, prior to joining PWI, she served a Data Entry Supervisor for national firm. She supervised a data entry staff of 25 personnel.

Robin serves as Office Manager is in charge of maintaining all of the day to day operations of PWI. Her work includes administrative organization, bookkeeping and contract compliance for background checks, drug testing, and Quality Control. Robin is a valuable asset to the team and her position is critical to PWI’s success.
