Ken Walton is a managing and founding member of Panhandle Windstorm Inspections, LLC. Ken has been involved for more 30 years in the design and construction industry with the last two years spent in the testing business of commercial structures.
Beginning in the mid 1980s, Ken served as Vice President for two architectural firms in the North Florida area, which served clients throughout the Southeast. Ken was involved in the marketing and design of educational facilities, which went through major design changes when schools began being used as hurricane shelters. In early 2000, Ken began consulting for the construction industry and has worked with the top five firms in North Florida. In 2005, Ken was a founding member of W T & B, LLC, in the business of HVAC testing for commercial structures. Projects completed by the firm included large dorms on the FSU campus, condominiums, schools in Florida and South Georgia, as well as numerous commercial structures.
In addition, as a part of his work with educational facilities, Ken currently maintains a Level II background check with the Leon County School Board. Ken's ownership of this testing company allowed him to develop exacting procedures to ensure accurate reports in all testing areas. Quality assurance in testing procedures and reports caused the firm to grow quickly.
In late 2006, Ken sold his interest in the company and began the formation of Panhandle Windstorm Inspection, LLC. Ken recruited top management and IT professionals for the formation of this Limited Liability Corporation.
Bobby Cresap is a member of Panhandle Windstorm Inspections, LLC, and a registered Architect and Certified Windstorm Inspector. Bobby is the former co-owner of a large architectural practice with offices in three states. He was a founding partner with the firm. His experience includes the design of education facilities that also serve as hurricane shelters in the event of a storm. His more than 30 years of architectural experience includes all aspects of hurricane readiness. He is intimately familiar with the Florida Building Code and coastal requirements. Bobby received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies at Florida A & M University and his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston.
Due to his experience, knowledge and qualifications, Bobby heads the Quality Assurance Department for PWI, and oversees the work of all of PWI's inspectors. He has proven leadership skills and is an asset to the PWI team. He currently resides in Carrabelle, Florida.
Patty serves as Office Manager and runs the day to day operations for PWI's main office in Tallahassee. She brings more than 17 years of experience to this position. Patty has a construction background having worked for a residential contractor for several years. In addition, she has an administrative, bookkeeping and customer service background. Her work for PWI includes administrative organization, bookkeeping and contract compliance for background checks, drug testing, and disciplinary action. It addition, she coordinates all training and training compliance to insure that all of PWI's inspectors exceed the minimums established by State of Florida. She holds a Florida Notary License. She has been resident of Tallahassee since 1986 and is very familiar with the North Florida Region.
